The word on the street from my neighbor is that the Bay Center will not be phased in terms of demolition–something that seemed to be confirmed this morning by the Lakeshore Weekly News in an article titled: NEWS UPDATE: Wayzata scrambles to relocate bar and grill; Bay Center to be demolished all at once, according to city. This has the potential to leave the Muni homeless as original plans called for a phased demo of the Bay Center site.
One of the potential locations is the swamp at the east of Lake Street.
Wayzata City Council members did not immediately return an email inquiry seeking commentary.
