Redevelopment is officially underway at 1022 Wayzata Boulevard, the site of the former Wayzata Texaco, as the Walser Automotive Group begins razing the building to make room for Lamborghini of Wayzata.
The long-discussed project, led by Walser Automotive chairman Paul Walser, marks a significant step toward bringing the luxury Italian car brand to the lakeside community. Walser previously described the dealership as a “boutique” operation, offering a high-class, low-volume experience distinct from traditional automotive retail.
“This is not just a dealership; it’s a destination,” Walser said in a prior interview.
Walser Automotive has emphasized its commitment to maintaining good relations with neighboring property owners, ensuring the dealership’s design aligns with Wayzata’s character.
Stay tuned for updates as the Lamborghini of Wayzata moves closer to opening its doors, bringing exotic supercars and a touch of Italian luxury to the heart of the city.
