The Unitarian Universalist Church of Minnetonka (UUCM) continues its tradition of supporting local artists and musicians by hosting rotating art exhibits and music events at its location at 2030 Wayzata Blvd. E. in Wayzata.
The current art exhibition features the captivating work of Minneapolis-based artist Anne Landreman.
Landreman’s collection, on display through March, showcases a blend of acrylics and watercolors.
Anne’s art captures the intricate relationships within nature, portraying the interdependence of water, trees, plants, and animals.
The pieces convey the beauty, fragility, and serenity of the natural world.
Having received her art training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Hamline University, and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Anne Landreman brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her craft.
In addition to her role as an accomplished artist, she serves as an adjunct professor of art at Mankato State University and Augsburg University.
UUCM emphasizes the importance of incorporating art into the worship experience, considering it as integral as music.
Since settling into their current space at 2030 Wayzata Blvd. E., UUCM has featured the works of twenty local artists.
The gallery space not only serves as a venue for art but also as a platform to celebrate the diverse artistic expressions within the community.
