The 1st period set the tone for Wayzata’s dominance, with Rhys Wallin scoring an even-strength goal, assisted by Brittan Alstead and Brooks Gengler. Shortly after, Luke Miller extended the lead with another even-strength goal, assisted by Jake Mattson and Hawke Huff.

The Wayzata Trojans continued their relentless attack into the 2nd period, with Rhys Wallin securing his second goal, assisted by Brittan Alstead and Carson Clark. Luke Miller added to the tally with his second goal, assisted by Cade De St. Hubert and Hawke Huff. The scoring spree continued as Brittan Alstead and Brooks Gengler found the back of the net, sealing the Trojans’ commanding lead.
