The 2nd annual Wayzata Senior Health Fair will be held next Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m at Wayzata Community Church, 125 Wayzata Blvd. E. The event is free and open to the public.
The keynote speaker for the fair, Dr. John Mielke, was featured as a Top Doctor in St. Paul/Minneapolis Magazine.
The event’s sessions will cover “Holistic Approaches,” “Hot to Talk Turkey About Again With Your Kids,” “Ethical Wills,” “Driving Assessment Program,” and “Support for the Caregiver with a Loved One with Alzheimer.” Attendees will have the opportunity to receive a seated massage, balance and blood pressure checks. Over 25 vendors will also be available with information on a variety of health topics.
Senior apartments, assisted living centers, and adult day centers in the area will receive free transportation to and from the event.
