Pictures of the 2009 Wayzata Chilly Open

The Wayzata Chamber of Commerce held the 25th Annual Chilly Open today on Wayzata Bay, part of Lake Minnetonka. This years theme was “Hollywood”, and judging by the turnout, the response from the Wayzata Community was very positive. Peggy Douglas, of the Wayzata Chamber, remarked how the day was beautiful when Elisha and I talked with her.

There were a number of local businesses that sponsored the holes, and the golfers hit tennis balls around the frozen golf course with hockey sticks or golf clubs. Many of the participants had a sled in tow with cases of beer as they walked the course. FREE chilly was available from local restaurants on the 19th hole, a tent set up to feed the masses.

After Elisha and I walked the course with our black lab Lexus, we stopped in to the Muni for a bite to eat. The place was packed with the first round of golfers and Wayzata enthusiasts.
