In a recent ceremony, 31-year Wayzata resident Greg Rye was honored with the esteemed Fred Moritz Award, administered through Jim Ramstad’s office. The award, named after the late Fred Moritz, recognizes individuals for outstanding community service.
During the ceremony, Jim Ramstad, overseeing the award, highlighted Greg Rye’s extensive community involvement as a pivotal factor in his selection. Rye, a dedicated member of the Wayzata community, currently serves as a Wayzata School Board Member. His commitment extends beyond education, having actively contributed to the City Council, Planning Commission, and the Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners (IOCP).
