WAYZATA, MN — The sun-kissed shores of Wayzata Bay witnessed a canine escapade as Lexus and I indulged in a refreshing dip in the cool waters last Saturday.
Despite the reluctance of many boaters to brave the waters following recent storms that stirred up the chill, our aquatic adventure became a testament to the resilience of Wayzata’s summer spirit.
The aftermath of the storms left the waters slightly unsettled, dissuading most boaters from taking the plunge. However, the allure of Wayzata Bay proved irresistible, beckoning us to explore its depths and relish the joy of a summer day.
As captured in the accompanying photo, my attempt to capture a memorable moment was playfully interrupted by Lexus’s determined dog paddling.
