“True Team State Champions! Thursday night was one for the record books, literally. The Trojans won True Team State with a whopping, new point record of 2447 points (Minnetonka was second with 1999 points and Edina was third with 1973.5 points). On top of that, the girls set four new meet records: the 200 Medley Relay (sophomore Carly Quast, junior Madison Preiss, sophomore Lexi Schaaf and junior Colleen Donlin), the 200 Freestyle Relay (senior Mary Whiting, Schaaf, junior Sarah Lingen and Preiss), Carly Quast in the 100 back, and the 400 Freestyle Relay (Whiting, senior Megan Larson, Lingen and Donlin). As if that weren’t enough, there were also four school records broken: the Medley Relay, Carly Quast in the 200 free (1:51.08) and the 100 back (55.00) and Lexi Schaaf in the 100 fly (56.17). Congratulations to the entire team for making the night a memorable one! Results, the Best Times/Scores and the Record Boards links have all been updated.

Star of the Meet: Congratulations to Tessa Anderson for winning Star of the Meet at True Team Sections. Tessa dove a season best score of 426.40 in the 11-dive list. She also swam the 50 breast on the Medley Relay in a time of 32.38 and the 50 free on the 200 Free Relay in a time of 26.80, earning her two swimming spots at True Team State. Way to go, Tessa!”
