Wayzata Wins Section 5AA Girls Swimming and Diving (video)

“Depth paid off for the Wayzata Trojans girls swimming and diving team as they won the Section 5AA team title Saturday at Minnetonka. Champlin Park was second and Maple Grove third. Maple Grove’s Libby Bakker (200 IM and 100 backstroke) and Kaya Flaherty (50 freestyle and 100 butterfly) each won two events, as did Lucy Troyak (200 freestyle and 500 freestyle) of Wayzata. Bakker was named Section 5AA swimmer of the year. The state meet is Thursday through Saturday at the University of Minnesota.” via CCX Media.
