“The Wayzata girls’ soccer team is back in the state semifinals yet again. The top-seeded Trojans won their Class AAA quarterfinal round match, beating St. Michael-Albertville 5-1 Tuesday. Lauren Craig scored twice with Tenley Senden, Sophie Hawkinson and Sarah Hyde also scoring for the Trojans. Wayzata (17-1-1) is in the state tournament for a 31st time and now advances to face Eagan (16-3-1) in the semifinals next Tuesday at 8:00 am at U.S. Bank Stadium.” via CCX sports.
