Work has officially begun on the eagerly awaited step-down elements of the Panoway Lakewalk, signaling a key milestone in the effort to improve this popular lakeside spot.
As the work progresses, portions of the boardwalk will need to be temporarily closed to allow access to the underside of the structure. While this may cause brief inconveniences for those enjoying the lakewalk, the City will have safety measures in place and assures the community that the closure will be carefully managed.
The stepdown installation is expected to wrap up by the end of October, just in time for locals to enjoy the fall views along the revitalized boardwalk.
