Leigh & I are writing to highlight the critical need for fiscal responsibility in Wayzata and to endorse Andrew Mullin for Mayor. Andrew’s extensive experience in city governance and his prudent financial management make him the perfect candidate to lead our city into a prosperous future.
Andrew’s 17 years of local government experience have equipped him with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of municipal finance. His role in restoring Wayzata’s AAA bond rating and leading capital investments into essential infrastructure projects, such as Holdridge Streets and Water, showcases his ability to make sound financial decisions that benefit our community.
As a local business owner and a dedicated public servant, Andrew understands the importance of balancing the needs of our residents with fiscal prudence. He has consistently advocated for lower taxes and reducing the tax burden on businesses and residents, ensuring that our community thrives without unnecessary financial strain.
Andrew’s leadership in securing grants for critical projects, including the stormwater treatment initiative funded by the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources, further illustrates his commitment to leveraging external resources to enhance our city’s infrastructure without overburdening taxpayers.
In these challenging economic times, Wayzata needs a Mayor who prioritizes fiscal responsibility and has a proven track record of managing our city’s finances effectively. Andrew Mullin is that leader, and I urge my fellow residents to support his candidacy for Mayor.
