Hennepin County will repave Central Avenue (County Road 101) in Wayzata starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 3. The work, which will take place between County Road 12 and Wayzata Boulevard, is expected to be finished by 2 a.m. Friday, October 4.

Crews will repave one side of the road at a time, with traffic directed through the area by flaggers. Residents and businesses will still have access but may experience brief delays. Motorists are advised to remain alert for traffic control personnel and allow extra time for travel. All work is weather dependent.

The overnight schedule aims to minimize disruption for residents and businesses. Once completed, the road will feature a smoother surface and new lane striping to enhance safety for drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users.

Hennepin County thanks the community for its patience during the improvements.
