The Wayzata High School girls volleyball team is excited to welcome the community’s young athletes to A highly anticipated match against Buffalo High School this Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the Wayzata High School main gym. The first serve is set for 7 p.m., and the energy is already building for what promises to be a fantastic night of volleyball and fun.
As part of our ongoing effort to inspire and connect with the next generation of volleyball stars, youth admission will be free for any child who wears their middle school uniform or a Wayzata volleyball shirt, like the ones from previous volleyball camps. It’s a great chance for our young fans to get up close and personal with the players they look up to, while cheering on their favorite Trojans. Adults attending will need to purchase tickets at the door through electronic payment, so make sure to bring your phone!
In true Wayzata volleyball fashion, the excitement doesn’t stop when the match ends. After the final point is scored, the varsity squad will be signing team posters for fans — a perfect keepsake for those in attendance. And if that wasn’t sweet enough, there will be treats for everyone — cookies, Rice Krispie bars, and lemonade to cap off what we know will be an unforgettable night.
The team can’t wait to see all the Wayzata volleyball shirts, middle school jerseys, and smiling faces in the stands. Be sure to come early, snag a good seat, and get ready to make some noise as the Trojans take on Buffalo!
