“The Wayzata football team will once again face one of the toughest schedules in the state, but the Trojans are up for the challenge. Wayzata went 2-7 last year and 1-3 in one-score games. The Trojans return seven starters on the defensive side of the ball and some key players on offense. Evan McCarty and Joey Andrada anchor a solid offensive line, Tony Ley leads a talented receiving core, and Oscar Shoap and Matthew Berkland have been battling for the starting quarterback job all camp.
