WAAMfest 2024 Returns with Headliners Alesso and Dillon Francis

WAAMfest is back for its second year, promising to deliver another high-energy music festival that will officially kick off summer on Lake Minnetonka.

The event, held in conjunction with the Wayzata Art Experience, has quickly become a highlight of the local cultural calendar.

Last year’s inaugural festival was a resounding success, featuring headliners Steve Aoki and Gryffin, and drew a sold-out crowd that enjoyed a weekend of electrifying beats and infectious rhythms.

Building on that success, this year’s lineup includes sensational headliners Alesso and Dillon Francis, ensuring that the festival will once again be a must-attend event for Midwest music lovers.

The festival’s unique location on the beach in Wayzata offers a picturesque setting that combines art, music, and the natural beauty of Minnesota’s lakeside summer.

Organizers promise that the event will capture the essence of a Minnesota summer weekend, blending music and art with the relaxing ambiance of the beach and water.

WAAMfest 2024 aims to provide an unforgettable experience, celebrating the best of what summer in Minnesota has to offer.

Concert promoter Rick Born said in a recent interview, “I’m thrilled! Our first year was a huge success, with both shows demonstrating their ability to attract a crowd to Wayzata.”

Born continued, “The idea originated from the Beach Bash and was connected to James J. Hill Days. We wondered if we could create a similar event for the Art Experience in collaboration with the Chamber. These bookend events were a gamble, but to our surprise, both nights sold out and were incredibly successful.”
