Section 6AAA Track and Field Highlights; Wayzata Wins Team Titles

“The Wayzata Trojans boys and girls won team titles with Hopkins finishing second in both as several local athletes and teams qualified for spots in the state meet. Several relay teams from local schools won races. Among the local individual girls winners Thursday were Praise Akinyele (100 meter hurdles), Annabelle Speers (pole vault), of Hopkins and Katie Kelzenberg (shotput) of Wayzata. Local boys winners included Wayzata’s Tyler Milkes (100 meters) and Tyler Kissell (1600). The state meet is June 7-8 at St. Michael-Albertville High School.” via CCX Media.
