Your Wayzata Boys Basketball team (6-0) hosted Chaska (3-4) last evening at the Wayzata Field House and beat the visiting team easily in continued non-conference play.
Chaska turned the ball over 5 times in the first handful of minutes, as Wayzata went on a 12-0 run to open the game and never really looked back.
Jackson McAndrew finished 22 points, Christian Wiggins had 16, Wyatt McBeth had 12, Isaac Olmstead had 7, Drew Nepstad had 6, Michael Saphir had 6, Brayden Sandmann had 5, and both Ben Shaffer and Adam Dehm had 2 points each to round out the scoring.
For Chaska, Tray Lenze lead the hawks with 12, and shifty point guard Tyler Forrest had 11.

The half time was filled with a great matchup of future Trojans as the 3-4 Meteors battled the 3-6 Dominators, part of the Wayzata Boys Basketball Association.
The Trojans will host the Burnsville Blaze at 5:30 pm on Thursday night, right before the Wayzata Girls Basketball team (5-2) hosts Elk River (5-2) at 7:00 pm.
