Wayzata School District Voters To Decide Fate of Technology Levy

Wade Phillips, director of technology at Wayzata Public Schools, says classrooms don’t look like they did in past decades. Technology like iPads and smartboards have become an integral part of teaching. To update district technology, Wayzata is asking voters to renew an existing levy, which wouldn’t raise taxes. “We’re really trying to prepare our kids not just for what’s going on today, but what is the future,” said Phillips.
