The Millers responded with Axel Linares scoring on a penalty kick just before halftime. The second half remained scoreless, cementing Wayzata’s back-to-back Section 6AAA championship. The Trojans are now gearing up for their Class AAA state quarterfinal match next week, with the opponent and location yet to be determined. The state tournament’s seeding process will occur on Saturday.
