After more than 31 years in law enforcement, Wayzata Police Chief Mike Risvold is set to retire on March 31st, marking the end of an era for the local police department.
Chief Risvold’s career began with the Minnetrista Police Department and Hennepin County’s Sheriff’s Department, where he served for 14 years before taking on the role of Chief in Wayzata in 2004.
