Lake Street Starbucks Temporarily Shuts Down Amid COVID-19 Precautions

Starbucks store, 740 E. Lake Street, Wayzata

The Starbucks located on Lake Street in downtown Wayzata has temporarily closed its doors, effective until Thursday, August 27, due to precautionary measures related to COVID-19.

A statement from a Starbucks corporate media relations employee clarified the situation, stating, “After a partner indicated they were experiencing potential symptoms, that partner and all other partners who were determined to have been in close contact with them have been self-isolating as a precaution.”

As a result of limited staffing, the store is temporarily closed.

The temporary closure is a proactive step to ensure the safety and well-being of both Starbucks partners and customers.

The affected partners are following self-isolation protocols in adherence to health guidelines.

The reopening on Thursday signifies Starbucks’ commitment to resuming operations promptly once necessary safety measures have been implemented.

Customers are encouraged to check for updates and reopening details as the situation evolves.

The Lake Street Starbucks looks forward to welcoming patrons back on Thursday, August 27, following the brief closure period.
