Another school year has almost come to an end. Our seniors are preparing for graduation and moving on to the next step in their lives. We want to wish them well and are confident in their success as they leave Wayzata High School. They have done a wonderful job as leaders of our building this year. They are truly wonderful students.
A couple of reminders about graduation. We graduate on Friday, June 3rd at 6:30 p.m. at the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis. There is not a Twins game that evening so parking should not be a problem, however it is a Friday evening and downtown can be busy. As you are planning for the graduation ceremony, plan accordingly.
A couple of important dates coming up include Parent-Teacher Conferences on May 12th. Please sign up online and continue to follow your student’s progress. May 14this the date for our Junior/Senior Prom. Please have a conversation with your student about safety, choices and being mindful as they celebrate this event at International Market Square in Minneapolis. We want everyone to have fun and be safe.
The rest of the school year will go by very quickly and summer break will be here before we know it. We would like to thank you as parents for your support during this very successful year at Wayzata.Have a great rest of the school year and a wonderful summer! If you have any questions about graduation or what is going on at the high school, please give me a call at 763-745-6610.
