Help fill a semi-trailer with gently used furniture and house wares, Apri1 16 at Trinity Lutheran Church Long Lake. Your tax free donations will benefit Bridging, a nonprofit organization distributing goods to area families in transition.
Bridging needs bookcases, desks, dressers, mattresses, box springs, dishes, pots and pans, toys, clocks, kitchen and table linens. Please refer to trinitylonglake.org for more specifics as Bridging has a list of unable to accept items. More than 6,000 families yearly receive an entire household of furniture through contributions.
Serve Weekend
This donation drive is part of SERVE Weekend where some two hundred volunteers will help at 12 organizations. Folks will pack meals for Japan, write cards to soldiers, prepare breakfasts and lunches for those and entertain residents of Bryant House with a dog show.
