The Greater Wayzata Area Chamber of Commerce launched a Young Professionals Group in February 2008. The group was created to connect chamber members ages 21 to 40.
The group’s mission is to create opportunities for young professionals to build relationships, contribute to the greater community through volunteerism, grow the chamber, develop professionally, and enhance the Greater Wayzata Area Chamber of Commerce as a whole.
The Wayzata Chamber Young Professionals group will host a winter networking event from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at BMW of Minnetonka, the world’s largest indoor showroom. BMW of Minnetonka is the Executive Partner Sponsor of the Young Professionals group.
Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres catered by the Wayzata Bar & Grill while networking with young professionals from the western suburbs. A cash bar will be available. Wuollet Bakery will furnish a cupcake bar for decorating delight. Massage Therapists from The Brost Clinic will be onsite for complimentary chair massages. BMW is offering test drives to interested attendees prior to the event. Attendees should bring business cards to distribute.
