The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant December 16 near Broadway and Park streets. A call to media relations at the department was not immediately returned.
Wayzata Police Chief Mike Risvold confirmed that the warrant was executed, “We were not involved–but were told about it two minutes before it happened. Other than that, I don’t know a whole lot about it.”
The commotion got the attention of a number of concerned parents and students at St. Bartholomew Catholic School, according to Chief Risvold.
