Apartment Fire at 324 Hampton displaces 10 residents

A fire engulfed a four unit apartment building located at 324 Hampton Street in Wayzata approximately 12:30 a.m Saturday morning.

The incident displaced 10 residents of the small apartment building. Approximately 80 Wayzata Fire fighters responded to the call from departments such as Wayzata, Plymouth, Minnetonka, Golden Valley, and more.

The Red Cross and the Salvation Army were both on the scene to help displaced residents find a place to live in the interim.
