- Congratulations to Wayzata High School Class of 2009!!
- The Trojans took first place in the Class 3AAA golf tournament at Bunker Hills last week with a score of 606.
- Wayzata High School senior Matt Ferro won $1,000 in a video competition advocating the use of seat belts to other teenagers.
- A car parked outside the Unitarian Universalist Church on Rice Street crashed into a home when left in neutral.
- To prepare for the new Wayzata Bay Shopping Center, geothermal energy tests were conducted on site to determine whether using geothermal energy was feasible. View the slide show, courtesy of Wayzata Bay Redevelopment.
Honorable Mention: The Wayzata Trojans 13AAA baseball team won the Delano Invitational tournament and the East Neighborhood is to be closed to through traffic.
