CITY OF WAYZATA: Hydrant Flushing Schedule

From the City of Wayzata:

The Wayzata Utility Department will be flushing water mains and fire hydrants from April 20th through May 1st, 2009. The purpose of this process is to remove any particulate matter that may have built up in the water mains over the year and also to insure that all fire hydrants on the water system are operating properly. As this flushing process may cause your water to become discolored at times, residents are advised to be observant and not wash clothes until after the flushing has been completed in your vicinity. If discolored water is present, run the cold water faucets until the water clears.
