WAYZATA PUBLIC SCHOOLS: EMS student takes first place in state writing contest

From Wayzata Public Schools:

Hannah Devens, an eighth grade student at East Middle School, took first place in the state in the year-long scenario writing competition offered through the Future Problem Solving Program (FPSP) competition.

Devens’ futuristic topic was the Olympics and her scenario was “An Unlikely Finish Line” She has been invited to compete in the FPSP international competition in Michigan this May. Her complete story is included as a pdf document.
