Peppermint Fence Preschool, Wayzata Public Schools’ licensed and nationally accredited preschool, is now taking registrations for 2009-10.
The Peppermint Fence program provides academic, social, emotional and physical development for children ages 2 to 5 years. Children can attend half-day classes two to five days a week, depending on their age, along with extended daycare for 3- to 5-year-old children.
Weekly Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes for parents and their children are also available and organized by children’s ages from newborn to 5-years-old. ECFE is a great way for young families to play and learn together and connect with other parents and their children. Classes are taught by state licensed early childhood teachers and parent educators.
Online registration will also begin for “Barefoot in the Grass” on April 23. This summer preschool program is for children ages 2- to 5-years old as of September 1, 2008, but have not yet attended kindergarten. Children may attend one or two, four-week sessions, with two, three-hour classes per week for this program.
