The Wayzata boys basketball team improved to 16-3 on the season on Friday night and picked up an important Classic Lake Conference victory in the process as they dumped the Armstrong Falcons 76-58.
Senior guard Jamar Franks led the way with a team-high 25 points. It’s the third time in the last four games that Franks has scored at least 25 points.
Senior forward Nolan Odland was the only other Trojan player in double figures with 18 points. Damarius Cruz led the Falcons with 28 points.
The Trojans will face Edina, the only conference team they have yet to play, on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 7:15 p.m. at Edina.
