From Wayzata Public Schools:
At its February 9 regular meeting, the school board of Wayzata Public Schools approved the administration’s recommendation on open enrollment for the 2009-10 school year.
The board approved the following open enrollment actions for next year:
- Close any grade level at the high school with an enrollment exceeding 800 students
- Close any grade level in the middle schools with an enrollment exceeding 775 students
- Close any grade level at the elementary level with an enrollment exceeding 750 students
- Individual elementary buildings may open kindergarten, first and second grade where they have space.
- Plymouth Creek Elementary is closed to open enrollment.
The size of the kindergarten classes will be re-evaluated after kindergarten round-up.
