WAYZATA HIGH SCHOOL: Paul Hoffer selected as 2009 Mr. Wayzata

From Wayzata Public Schools:

Ten Wayzata High School students competed in the eighth annual Mr. Wayzata Pageant on Friday February 6. The event was sponsored by the National Honor Society and all proceeds benefit the Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) organization. Paul Hoffer was selected as the 2009 Mr. Wayzata, and runner-up went to Richie Hermann.

Before a sold-out Wayzata High School Auditorium, the contestants danced with the Wayzata Trojet Dance Team, were introduced in formal wear, had to answer an interview question, and perform a dance or skit. The judges were Flip Saunders, former Timberwoloves and Detroit Pistons coach, along with Amanda Craven, Matt Lombardi, Caitlin Neuworth and Tyler Shepard; the event was MC’ed by students Erin Dongoske and Emily Keig; event coordinators were Leslie Swiggum and Jenny McIlmoyle.
