Seniors Jamar Franks and DeShawn Thurman achieved career-high scores on Friday night for the Wayzata Boys Basketball team, leading the Trojans to overcome a five-point halftime deficit against Minnetonka.
Wayzata dominated the second half, scoring 53 points and securing an 86-78 victory, bringing their season record to 14-2.
Franks delivered an outstanding performance with 27 points, while Thurman continued his recent strong play, contributing 25 points.
Senior Nolan Odland, the team’s leading scorer for the season, also made a notable impact with 10 points.
With 10 wins in their last 11 games, the Trojans are gearing up to host Minneapolis Henry at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
