Wayzata seniors Jamar Franks and DeShawn Thurman scored career highs on Friday night as the Trojans erased a five point halftime deficit by scoring 53 points in the second half against Minnetonka. The final result was an 86-78 victory for the now 14-2 Trojans.
Franks exploded for 27 points and Thurman continued his strong play of late by adding 25 points. Senior Nolan Odland, the team’s leading scorer on the season, also scored in double figures with 10.
The Trojans, who have won 10 of their last 11 games, will host Minneapolis Henry at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
