Every once in a while I find myself looking at a page with demographics and information about Wayzata, MN. Invariably that page will discuss the association that the family of main characters had with this upscale and closely knit town. In case you don’t remember, Brandon and Brenda Walsh were uprooted by the father and mother on the show for a job offer in California and moved to Beverly Hills. Sure they flubbed the pronunciation of the name, but come on, you gotta love that they were from here!
For your viewing pleasure, here are the opening credits from Beverly Hills, 90210 from season 8–a time when the show had reached the height of it’s popularity and before the main characters like Jason Priestly and Luke Perry began to bail on the show by the lure of big bucks and the fear of being typecast.
