From Wayzata Public Schools:
Wayzata High School will host Champlin Park in the football section finals on Friday, October 31 at 7 p.m.
As residents will also be celebrating Halloween that evening, Wayzata Public Schools and the city of Plymouth want to make sure that the trick-or-treaters in the neighborhoods around Wayzata High School are provided a safe environment.
On Friday, traffic will be restricted to local residents only in the Plum Tree, Conor Meadows, and Wyndemere Farms neighborhoods. The entrances to these neighborhoods will be monitored by Plymouth Police Department personnel from 5 until 8 p.m. On-street parking is restricted on Peony Lane and Schmidt Lake Road.
A large crowd is expected for the game and spectators are encouraged to car-pool. An auxiliary parking lot will be set up at Providence Academy with 400 parking spots available. Providence Academy is located 2.5 miles east of Wayzata High School on 15100 Schmidt Lake Road. Shuttle buses will run between Providence Academy and Wayzata High School starting at 6 p.m. The shuttles buses will run until 8 p.m. At the conclusion of the game the shuttle buses will depart from Wayzata High School to Providence Academy.
