Wayzata Police Chief Mike Risvold issued a prepared statement this morning with regard to a burglary in the Holdridge area of town:
A burglary occurred in the Holdridge area of Wayzata (east end of town) during daytime hours on Tuesday, October 28th. The burglar(s) entered the home through an unlocked door. Items taken were large enough to necessitate a vehicle for their removal. This burglary occurred between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM. At this time, the burglary appears to be unrelated to a burglary occurring last week on the west side of Wayzata.
