Earl Hebeisen, Longtime Wayzata School Teacher, Dies

Earl Hebeisen, a longtime teacher in the Wayzata School District, died at the age of 88 on Feb. 14.

Hebeisen was an elementary teacher at Widsten, Gleason Lake and Oakwood schools for more than 30 years.
He was preceded in death by infant daughter, Debbie; parents, Fred and Lydia; brothers, Chester, Marvin, Fritz, Alloyd, and Floyd; and sisters, Violet, Valeria, Myra, and Marion.
Hebeisen is survived by his wife of 63 and a half years, Clara; sons, David (Pat), Mark (Diane), Dan (Tammy), and Jim (Sue); grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica, Eric (Karla), Jennifer, Adam, Joe, Ian, Alex; great-granddaughters, Katya and Pearl Ann; sister, Dorothy; and brother, Dick.
His interment will take place at St. Barnabas Columbarium.
In lieu of flowers, memorial preferred to Hopkins Educational Foundation, Wayzata Education Fund, and Interfaith Outreach.
