A Letter from the Heritage Preservation Board:

ALL THE CITIZENS AND FRIENDS OF WAYZATA:

Many of you have been aware of the log cabin which originally stood on the Andrews/Field property at 324 Bushaway Road over the past 100 years.  NOW WE INVITE YOU ALL TO JOIN THE CITY COUNCIL AND WAYZATA’S HERITAGE PRESERVATION BOARD ON SATURDAY, SEPT. 6, 2014 AT 10:00 A.M. BY THE CABIN IN SHAVER PARK  (SOUTHWEST CORNER OF PARK) TO THANK OUR BENEFACTORS AND WELCOME THE “TRAPPER’S CABIN” TO TAKE ITS PLACE IN WAYZATA’S HISTORY.

David and Nancy Field have graciously donated a bronze plaque in memory of David’s parents, John and Helen Field.  It will be placed alongside the cabin.
