Last Friday, August 5th, Wayzata Public Schools launched their new website to the public.
The new website is designed to be a quick easy way for you to learn about the district. It will also allow you to see stories about the accomplishments of students, and staff. This website will give you the chance to explore all 11 schools and programs the district has to offer. Bob Noyed, Director of Communications, said “(the website) is a primary way to engage and communicate with the parents and community.”
The district decided to change their website last fall. Noyed said “It was outdated.” When asked why they were looking to change their website Noyed answered, “we were looking for a fresher look and better navigation, so it could better meet the needs of our parents and our community.”
One of the features offered is an electronic tour of the website. The tour will give you an overview of the district.
“We are very pleased with it, and the feedback from parents has been positive.” says John Sucansky, Communication Specialist for the district.
