Wayzata Public Schools Peppermint Fence Preschool has been awarded accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
NAEYC accreditation is the gold standard for early childhood education in the United States, which Peppermint Fence has maintained for 16 years. It assures that students are safe, healthy and learning every day. Staff must be highly-trained and have access to excellent materials and researched–based curriculum geared toward each child’s abilities and development. This newest accreditation required far more rigorous standards than in the past and is a remarkable accomplishment after a year of intensive staff and curriculum development.
This five-year accreditation requires annual reviews and updates to ensure increased excellence in the program for Wayzata Public Schools’ youngest learners.
