The Wayzata High School commencement ceremonies for the class of 2009 will be held 7:30 p.m. June 2, at the Target Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Directions to the Target Center are available here.
Tickets are not issued for this event. Seating is first come, first served.
Graduates are to bring only their gown, cap and tassel with them into the Target Center. Students will not be permitted to have anything else in their possession such as purses, flowers, cameras, beverages, etc.
Security Measures at Target Center require that all purses, bags, camera cases, etc. be searched. Backpacks are not allowed.
All seniors attending the senior class party must ride the buses provided from the Target Center to the party location. Students will start boarding buses at 9:30 p.m.
Commencement will be recorded and shown on cable television. Check ED’s TV on the district Web site.
Students participating in commencement exercises must wear a cap and gown. There are extras available for students who did not purchase one. See Kathy Beatty in the Second Floor Office. Pre-ordered gowns can be picked up in the Senior Floor Office.
