A 5 kilometer fun run/walk to benefit Soles4Souls will be held beginning at 4:15 p.m. May 29, at Wayzata East Middle School, according to Kare 11 news.
Soles4Souls’ mission is to help as many people in need as possible by providing shoes. They have given shoes to children, people in impoverished nations and disaster relief organizations in over 70 countries.
The race is open to all ages and abilities, whether they want to complete all 5 kilometers or just part of it.
Registration for the event can be done online or on the day of the run beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the middle school. Cost of registration is $15 for students and $20 for those over 18.
Wayzata East Middle School will be making the 5 kilometer Fun Run/Walk an annual event.
