WAYZATA COMMUNITY SAILING CENTER: News Update on Cappy Capper

From the Wayzata Community Saling Center:

Dear Friends of Wayzata Community Sailing Center:

As many of you may have already heard, our Executive Director, Cappy Capper, was badly injured in a skiing accident on March 14th.

Although Cappy had several fractures and other injuries, he is doing amazingly well now and will be home in a week or two. The bad news is that he will be off the water most of the summer, and although he’ll be able to give us landlubber support, he’ll need to devote a lot of his time to his physical therapy.

The Capper family has set up a web page on Caring Bridge (link to that site) that you can visit for details, and to give him your best wishes. He would appreciate everyone waiting to visit him until he gets back home, after which you are welcome to stop by. Cards can be sent to him now at North Memorial Medical Center, 3300 Oakdale Ave N, Robbinsdale, MN, 55422. (He’s allergic to flowers!)

We fully expect our spring and summer sailing programs to go on as planned, with the able assistance of our Program Director, Dave Elsmoe, his staff, and all of your much appreciated volunteer efforts.
