CITY OF WAYZATA: 2009 Spring Clean Up Scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd

The City of Wayzata recently announced the schedule for Spring Clean Up 2009; it is scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd, 2009 starting at 7 a.m.

CURBSIDE HOUSEHOLD PICK UP
SATURDAY, MAY 2, 2009
STARTING PROMPTLY AT 7:00 AM RAIN OR SHINE

The City of Wayzata will provide a curbside household pick up for residential customers who pay for recycling, organics, and garbage service on their monthly utility bills. The pickup is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2009. Each item, bag or box must weigh less than 40 lbs., and debris must be bundled for easy pickup and under one (1) cubic yard in quantity.

Items that WILL be taken:

Mattresses and box springs, small carpet pieces – rolled and tied with twine and no larger than 4’ long and 12” in diameter, chairs, couches, grills-gas tanks removed, exercise equipment, doors, windows, gutters, lawn mowers-drain gas and oil.

Items NOT taken:

Dirt, sand, rock, batteries ,tires, concrete, fluorescent lights, waste oil, shingles, smoke detectors, construction debris, CO detectors, faxes, yard waste and brush, propane gas tanks, and paint cans.

The City of Wayzata will provide a citywide curbside appliance and electronics pickup on Saturday, May 2, 2009. Collection of appliances and electronics will be made with prior arrangements only. Call Randy’s Sanitation at 763-972-3335 before 3:00 pm on Thursday, April 30th to arrange for pickup and payment. The following items will be accepted for pickup:

The above rates are for the first appliance. Each additional appliance is $10.00 + a $10.00 surcharge per air conditioner.
