Wayzata resident Tim Williams has been featured in the Pioneer Press in an article entitled: Life in Hard Times: How Ordinary People are Coping. The article describes the difficulty that individuals are having in these troubled economic times. Here is an excerpt from the article:
The 51-year-old single father from Wayzata has been a cook and a chef since 1975, working for the Navy, restaurants, conference centers, grocery stores, caterers and food management companies.
“Jobs have always been easy to get and keep,” he said.
That was until he was laid off two months ago. Since then, he’s sent out dozens of résumés, only to get no response or be told he’s overqualified.
There is some good news, as Williams has recently been offered a position. Check out the story with the link at the top of this post.
