City of Wayzata challenges food and drink being served at local businesses

The City of Wayzata is holding an informational seminar to inform local businesses about what can and cannot be served in terms of food and wine–particularly for places that are not licensed food and drink establishments. It will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 in the City Hall Community Room from 8:00 – 9:30 AM.

Police Chief Mike Risvold will make begin the program with a Welcome and Introduction, as well as talking about Crime Alerts from the City. Lynda Stahl from the Wayzata Crime Prevention Coalition will make additional comments.

Scott Mueller will address liquor control – What you can and cannot do in serving liquor in your business and will present new rules and regulations. Michelle Koch from the Department of Health will inform us about serving food in your business? A short Q&A will follow the presentation.

If you need more information, call Sandy Langley at City Hall: 952-404-5302.
