David Schueller of the Lakeshore Weekly News has written an article on blogs that features Wayzata.com. The article is titled: Keep up the blog work. In the article he says,
“Stepping up from the blog level are sites like http://www.wayzata.com, a new-media news site run by Wayzata resident Dan Gustafson, who’s acknowledged that he puts quite a bit of time into posting on the site and now has staff members, some of whom were formerly employed by this newspaper. It’s impressive to see someone that committed to the effort and to a community.”

Wayzata.com readers will also be interested to find that Schueller runs a blog on his own titled David’s Spin. It’s interesting to see a reporter give blogging a whirl and write about what they would like to write about, rather than being paid to write about what other people want to read.
